Black Desert released an update on Wednesday, September 2. This update introduced class improvements, the integration of Life Skill gear, and the addition of "Merv's Silver Needle and Knot," which allows players to extract the functional effects of functional outfits and apply them to any desired appearance.

- Succession Tamer: Removed Stamina recovery during 'Prime: Moonlight Strike,' reduced Stamina consumption for 'Prime: Legendary Leap,' and changed so that chaining into Soaring Kick from mid-air actions during Evasion is no longer possible.

- Awakening Tamer: Removed Stamina recovery during 'Moonlight Strike' and 'Flow: Full Moon.'

- Succession Maehwa: Increased damage for 6 skills.

- Awakening Maehwa: Increased damage for 8 skills.

- Awakening Striker: Reduced HP recovery effect for 'Infinite Explosion,' and added an HP recovery on hit effect to 'Fallout' and 'Ferocious Assault.'

- Awakening Drakania: Added a WP recovery on hit effect to 'Extinction' and 'Doombringer.'

- Scholar: Changed Gravity Core installation so it is unaffected by increases or decreases in Attack/Cast Speed, increased base skill activation speed by 25%, improved Gravity Core to be installed faster, and reduced Gravity Core duration.

- Added a unified UI for all Life Skill gear, including tools, outfits, accessories, artifacts, and matchlocks.

- Effects of items equipped in Life Skill gear are now permanently applied Family-wide.

- Improved so that Season characters can also equip Life Alchemy Stones.

- Changed Lightstone combinations to only use 'Lightstone of Flora' or 'Iridescent Lightstone.'

- Removed DP and Max Weight Limit Increase effects from Life Skill gear.

- Removed Golden Coral Belt items.

- Removed Alchemy Stone durability.

- Removed recipes, quests, and other content related to Spirit Stones.

- Please note that previously equipped gear will be unequipped and moved to the Heidel Storage

- Added 'Orb of Clarity,' an item replacing Crystal of Dawn - Life EXP.

- Enhancement requires 'Clarity Crystal' = 1 Essence of Dawn + 30 Trace of Nature + 500 Magical Lightstone Crystal.

- Orb of Clarity can be enhanced up to +15 and grants a +90% Life EXP Gain effect.

- Added 'Merv's Silver Needle and Knot,' which allows extracting only the function of functional outfits.

- Merv's Silver Needle can be purchased from Old Moon Manager NPCs for 10 million Silver.

- Obtain knots by using Processing - Manufacture on existing Pearl outfits, then equip them.

- Improved so that Coral Crystals and Great Whale Oil can be obtained from Khan and Vell.

- Increased monster HP in the Land of the Morning Light sniper hunting zone by 10%; increased HP of Hunting monsters other than Lau Lau, Mountain Foot, and Great Whale by 20%.

- Reduced junk loot amount in Event Horizon by approximately 20–30%.

- Adjusted Agris Fever point consumption in Event Horizon (significantly increased for Ivedoor and Lost Item of Space-Time).

- Adjusted overall loot drop rate in Event Horizon.

- Doubled the drop rate of Rinbark Horn compared to before; it is no longer categorized as junk loot.

- Increased Agris Fever point consumption for Rinbark/Rinbukku by approximately 2–3 times.

- Changed Crow Coin Exchange NPCs so they no longer exchange Rinbark-related items for Wave Black Stones.

- Reduced Sailor EXP and Ocean Karma gained from defeating Rinburg by 75–80%.
