NCSOFT (Co-CEOs Kim Taek-jin and Park Byung-moo) announced that its MMORPG Lineage M will open new servers, revamp classes, and offer generous rewards through 'THE GOLDEN AGE' update on September 9.
Starting with this update, Lineage M will introduce new servers 'Giran' and 'Heine' in the Reboot World and execute a full reboot for its original class, the Dragon Knight. Along with this, the game plans to support rapid player progression by providing significantly increased benefits, including EXP bonuses of up to 1,000%.
In particular, players on the new servers will receive 'Lohengrin's Special Training' benefits, granting up to 1,000% bonus EXP up to 50% of Level 90. Additionally, 'Deporoju's Growth Pass,' which provides up to 300 draws based on progression milestones, and 'Operation: Retake Dragon Valley,' designed for fast-track leveling, have been prepared. By combining 'Aden Knights' Equipment' granted through pre-registration with 'Magical Energy' obtained through gameplay and crafting in the new server-exclusive dungeon 'Past Talking Island,' players can craft Hero-grade 'Knights' Equipment'. Users who participated in pre-registration will also receive the 'Radiant Ancient Necklace,' which increases EXP gains by 100% and Adena drop rate by 10%.
Detailed contents of the Dragon Knight class reboot were also revealed. The NPC-exclusive skill 'Multi-Chain Grab' becomes active, and a new skill, 'Chain Sword Mastery (Impact),' which permanently grants a 4-tile weapon reach, is introduced. The Unique Legendary skill 'Aurakia' now applies the effects of all four awakened dragons simultaneously and additionally activates 'Aurakia's Authority'. Furthermore, the Mythic skill 'Asura,' which channels the power of Halphas, receives significant performance improvements by triggering 'Soul Cage'.
The existing high-level zone 'Albino Basin' is expanded with 'Albino Dungeon Sector 4'. In addition, 'Nightmare Island' has been revamped with balance adjustments, new rewards, and collections, while the seasonal dungeon 'Arena' is updated with two new maps. A renewal of 'Clan Raid' is also included in this update, encouraging competition between clans based on existing raid records and offering enhanced rewards.
Ahead of the official update, NCSOFT (Co-CEOs Kim Taek-jin and Park Byung-moo) will host a live broadcast titled 'Inside M - Abundant Giran' on the official Lineage M YouTube channel at 8:00 PM on September 7. Lineage M insiders and streamer BJ Game Hal Ga-young will appear on the broadcast to preview key details of 'THE GOLDEN AGE' update and hand out various rewards to viewers.
