Razer released its foldable mobile gaming controller, the "Razer Prio," today on the 2nd. Priced at $99.99 (159,800 won), this new product is a smartphone-exclusive controller with a battery-free design that emphasizes portability.

The Razer Prio is designed with a foldable structure for compact storage. When folded, it measures 101mm x 67mm and weighs 101g. This is lighter than the company's existing mobile controller models, the Kishi V3 (175g) and Kishi V3 Pro (268g). Unfolded, it can mount smartphones with displays up to 7 inches—such as the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra—and is compatible even with most smartphone cases attached.

The control section features a tactile 4-way D-Pad, face buttons, dual bumpers and triggers, and four multifunction buttons. The thumbsticks utilize high-precision capacitive technology, along with quiet tactile buttons that minimize noise when pressed. However, unlike Razer's previous handheld controllers, it adopts a symmetrical layout with the thumbsticks aligned side by side at the bottom.

Because the Razer Prio has no internal battery, it connects directly to a smartphone and works instantly without requiring a separate charge. The controller body includes a dedicated launch button for the 'Razer Cortex Mobile' app, providing quick access to the user's library. It supports both iOS and Android devices, and beyond mobile games, it supports integration with PC and console games via major cloud gaming and remote play services such as Steam Link.
