On August 31, Gravity announced that BLACK ANGUS won the Korean qualifiers for "ROS (Ragnarok Online Stars) 2026," the global esports tournament for "Ragnarok Online."

The Korean qualifiers were held offline on August 29. A total of 22 teams participated, with the main tournament matches played in a best-of-three format, the quarterfinals through the third-place match in best-of-five, and the finals in best-of-seven.

In the finals, BLACK ANGUS took an early three-game lead before dropping one match to their opponents, but won the next match to secure the championship with a final score of 4-1.

A representative for BLACK ANGUS said, "We are thrilled to be selected as Korea's representative after competing against such formidable teams, and I am grateful to my teammates who gave their all." They added, "In the remaining time before the global finals, we will do our utmost to further improve our teamwork and performance so that we can demonstrate the power of the Korean representative team at the tournament in Thailand."

As the Korean representative, BLACK ANGUS will receive qualification and full expense coverage to compete in the 'ROS 2026' Global Finals, held during Ragnarok Festa in Bangkok, Thailand this November. They will also receive in-game rewards including the "ROS Korea Representative 1st Place Box" and 1.4 million won in free cash. The runner-up and third-place teams will receive the "ROS Korea Representative Box," free cash, and 2027 VIP benefits.

Seong-jin Kim, Business PM for Ragnarok Online at Gravity, stated that the company plans to actively support the Korean team so they can fully demonstrate their skills at the global finals.

The 'ROS 2026' Global Finals will take place at 'Ragnarok Festa 2026' in Bangkok, Thailand in November. Representative teams from five regions, including Korea, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and Latin America, are scheduled to compete.
