Riot Games announced that Round 2 of the 2026 Woori Bank LCK Playoffs will kick off on September 1 at the Chzzk LoL Park LCK Arena in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

In the Play-In stage held from August 26 to 28, KT Rolster and BNK FearX survived. KT Rolster defeated Hanjin Brion after a close five-game series in Round 1. BNK FearX beat Nongshim RedForce and then secured a 3-2 comeback victory over Hanjin Brion in the final match to advance to the playoffs.

In Round 1 of the playoffs on August 29, T1 defeated BNK FearX 3-2. Down 1-2 in set score, T1 brought the series back to level terms behind 'Faker' Lee Sang-hyeok's Anivia, and in Game 5, 'Peyz' Kim Su-hwan recorded a pentakill on Varus to lock in their spot in Round 2.

KT Rolster swept Dplus KIA 3-0 on August 30. In Game 2, they overturned a deficit of over 10,000 gold and 10 kills, while in Game 3, 'Bdd' Gwak Bo-seong became only the second player in League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) history to reach 3,000 career kills.

Regular season first-place team Gen.G selected KT Rolster as their Round 2 playoff opponent. As a result, regular season runner-up Hanwha Life Esports will face T1. The Upper Bracket Round 2 match between Gen.G and KT Rolster will take place on September 1, while Hanwha Life Esports vs. T1 will be played on September 2.

On September 3, Round 1 losers Dplus KIA and BNK FearX will square off in the Lower Bracket. This will be followed by the Lower Bracket Round 2 on September 4, the Upper Bracket Final on September 5, and the Lower Bracket Final on September 6. The three teams determined through this schedule will advance to the 2026 Woori Bank LCK Finals Series, held at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul from September 12 to 13.

Meanwhile, Dplus KIA support 'Career' Oh Hyeong-seok was named the recipient of the Round 4 'Woori WON, THE PLAY' award. Oh laid the foundation for his team's victory on August 14 in Game 3 against T1 by initiating two key teamfights on Rakan.

The playoff matches will be broadcast live via online platforms including Chzzk and SOOP.
