
ASUS announced on the 31st that it is launching the 'Vivobook S14', an AI laptop equipped with an OLED display and Qualcomm Snapdragon X processor.
The 'Vivobook S14' is a Copilot+ PC designed for users who prioritize portability and productivity. Featuring a metal body, it weighs approximately 1.28kg and measures 1.49cm thick, packing a 50Wh battery that provides up to 30 hours of battery life. The included 68W USB-C adapter supports fast charging, bringing the battery up to 60% in about 49 minutes.
The display is a 14-inch 16:10 WUXGA (1920×1200) OLED panel. It supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and a 0.2ms response time, while earning TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification.
The Hexagon NPU built into the Qualcomm Snapdragon X processor delivers up to 45 TOPS of AI computing performance. It supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to a 256GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, along with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
It supports Windows Hello facial recognition powered by an AI camera and FHD IR webcam, and includes Windows Passkey and a Microsoft Pluton security processor. It also features AI capabilities that detect user gaze and movement to adjust screen brightness and lock status.
I/O ports include two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, and an audio combo jack. It meets U.S. Department of Defense MIL-STD 810H durability standards and features a 180-degree hinge, Smart Gesture touchpad, ErgoSense keyboard, and a dedicated Copilot key.
The product is available in two colors: Matte Gray and Light Blue. Sales will begin on September 1 through the official ASUS online store and the Naver Brand Store.
