In the end, it was T1. Although BNK FearX put up a valiant fight, T1 fully displayed their individual mechanics in the final Game 5 to secure the victory.
In Game 5, T1 got off to a good start in a 3v3 bottom skirmish that extended into the jungle, striking first to trade 2 kills for 1. Even in a dragon teamfight where 'Peyz' Kim Su-hwan's Varus was caught first, T1 made up for the kill and stacked their second dragon through a Teleport from 'Doran' Choi Hyeon-jun's Kennen. BNK FearX kept up the chase by securing both a kill and the Rift Herald off an Azir toss from 'VicLa' Lee Dae-kwang.
T1 quickly regained momentum by countering BNK FearX's setup targeting 'Faker' Lee Sang-hyeok's Yone. BNK FearX's mid dive was also completely countered by the ultimate from 'Keria' Ryu Min-seok's Renata Glasc. Scoring a clean Ace, T1 pushed down the mid outer turret and secured their third dragon, blowing the gold lead wide open to 8,000 in an instant.
T1 then effortlessly bursted down the fresh Baron right at the 20-minute mark. Having completely shattered the balance, T1 continued their one-sided onslaught. A rare sight unfolded when Varus, hiding in the enemy jungle, eliminated both members of the opposing bottom duo. Starting with Kennen solo-killing 'Taeyoon' Kim Tae-yoon's Kalista in front of the Dragon Soul, T1 swept up the remaining kills for another Ace and finally put an end to the match with a Pentakill from Varus in the final teamfight.
