Gravity will host the Korean qualifiers for its global eSports tournament 'ROS (Ragnarok Online Stars) 2026' for the PC MMORPG 'Ragnarok Online' on August 29.

'ROS 2026' is a tournament where 'Ragnarok Online' players from around the world compete in strategy and teamwork. The event held in Bangkok, Thailand in December 2025 drew approximately 13,000 local attendees. This year's main tournament will also be held in Bangkok, featuring representative teams from a total of five regions, including Korea, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.

A total of 22 teams will compete in the Korean qualifiers. The main tournament matches will be played in a best-of-three format, the quarterfinals through the third-place match in best-of-five, and the grand finals in best-of-seven. Four tournament-exclusive maps, including Temple of Valkyrie and Nogg Road, have also been newly added.

The winning team will earn a spot in the 'ROS 2026' main tournament in Thailand along with coverage for travel expenses. Participating players, including the runner-up and third-place teams, will also receive in-game rewards based on their placement and participation.

Cheering kits and impromptu on-site events between matches will be provided for attendees. A team composed of Gravity employees will also compete in the qualifiers, and an on-site tournament will take place allowing visitors to try the unreleased title 'Hashire Hebereke EX'.

Kim Sung-jin, Ragnarok Online Business PM at Gravity, stated that they prepared the competitive environment and on-site events for the Korean qualifiers, asking fans for their interest and support for the players' matches.
