Netmarble announced on August 28 that it has released a new update for the action game 'Solo Leveling: ARISE,' developed by Netmarble Neo, adding the new SSR Hunter 'Lee Joohee, Pilgrim of the Labyrinth.'

'Lee Joohee, Pilgrim of the Labyrinth' is a Light-element Buster who fights using prisms and her exclusive weapon, 'Guide of the Blessed Light.' Her primary skills include 'Reflection Chain,' which reflects a beam through a prism to attack enemies; 'Luminous Release,' which drives concentrated light forward into the ground; and 'Prism Blast,' which focuses light through multiple prisms to trigger a powerful explosion.

The new challenge content 'Hall of the Monarchs' will be added on September 3. Players can adjust the difficulty at each stage by setting various 'Proof of Mastery' custom challenges. Higher difficulty levels make enemies stronger, allowing players to earn higher scores upon defeating bosses.

'Hall of the Monarchs' unlocks after completing Tier 10 of Workshop of Brilliant Light in Sung Jinwoo Mode. Operating on a two-week seasonal cycle, enemies previously featured in Workshop of Brilliant Light will appear randomly each season. Special frames and titles will also be awarded based on rankings.

Additionally, Hard and Reverse Hard difficulties for Hidden Chapters 11 and 12 story content, the Sung Jinwoo-exclusive SSR Water-element weapon 'Spirit Blade: Snowstorm,' and a new season of Simulation Gate with higher difficulty levels have been added. Balance adjustments were also made to select Sung Jinwoo weapons, Hunters, and artifact set effects.

'Solo Leveling: ARISE' is the first game based on the 'Solo Leveling' IP, which has accumulated 14.3 billion views worldwide. It reached 60 million cumulative global users in about 10 months since its official launch and won the Grand Prize at the 2024 Korea Game Awards.
