
SEGA Publishing Korea has revealed details on the characters and game systems featured in Atlus's upcoming RPG 'Persona 4 Revival'.
The characters introduced this time are Kanji Tatsumi, Teddie, and Naoto Shirogane. Kanji Tatsumi is a steadfast and loyal first-year high school student who wields the unique Persona Take-Mikazuchi. Teddie, a mysterious creature living in the TV world, asks the protagonist's party for assistance, with his unique Persona being Kintoki-Douji.
Naoto Shirogane is the fifth-generation detective of the Shirogane family, a lineage of renowned detectives. Although a first-year high school student, Naoto works alongside the police on equal footing to resolve cases, wielding the unique Persona Sukuna-Hikona.
Exploration mechanics for the TV world's alternate dimension were also revealed. Destroying objects found on the field allows players to obtain items and recovery effects, or unlock map information for the floor.
In "Shuffle Time," which triggers at a set probability after battle completion, players select displayed cards to acquire rewards such as new Personas and items. Selecting all displayed cards triggers an "All Get Bonus," increasing earned experience points and money. A story trailer showcasing the characters and game content was also released. Wishlist registration and pre-orders are currently open across various digital storefronts.
'Persona 4 Revival' is scheduled to launch on February 18, 2027, for Xbox Series X|S, Windows, Xbox Game Pass, PS5, and Steam. It will support subtitles in six languages including Korean, along with Japanese and English voice options, while Chinese voiceover is set to be added via a post-launch patch. The game is rated 15+.
