In Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, the collaboration event with the Persona IP, "PERSONA ON FRONTLINE," is currently underway. Alongside the event launch, two limited collaboration Nikkes have been released and added to the pick-up banner: Queen (Makoto) and Yukiko. Both Nikkes are Burst III Fire-code main DPS units designed to create synergy when placed in the same squad.

The biggest strength of the Persona duo is their strong baseline power as main DPS units. Since both are Burst III main DPS units where firepower matters more than utility, their high self-sufficient damage output is a clear advantage.

Fire Code is a tough element to stand out in as a main DPS. Top-tier Nikkes currently dominate the element, led by Rapi: Red Hood—widely considered NIKKE's premier damage dealer—alongside powerhouses like Mihara: Bonding Chain and Diesel: Winter Sweets. While average firepower isn't enough to secure a top-tier placement here, the Persona duo boasts enough strength to rank right below these Tier-1 Nikkes.

In fact, in the latest Solo Raid, they served as the main DPS for Team 2, trailing right behind the Rapi–Mihara team. Since Solo Raid requires managing five separate teams, performance at this level means they are expected to remain viable for a long time, even as power creep progresses.

As such, the Persona duo is virtually a must-pull for players who care about maximizing their Fire Code Solo Raid scores. But what about players who joined the game specifically for the Persona collaboration, or those who aren't ready to compete in Solo Raid yet?

Objectively speaking, the Persona pair is difficult to utilize in content outside of Solo Raid. First, a major portion of their buffs relies on Code Advantage, which means their efficiency drops significantly if the enemy is not Wind Code. Consequently, they are tough to use in general content like Campaign stages. On top of that, Yukiko uses a Machine Gun (MG), giving her low PvP viability.

Judging solely by these factors, the pick-up priority for the Persona duo definitely drops. However, Solo Raid is not as distant or inaccessible as it might seem. Even if you aren't competing for top ranks, steadily pushing your personal score in mid-tier ranks is an enjoyable experience in itself.

Furthermore, it is important to remember that these are limited collaboration Nikkes. By nature, it is impossible to predict when collaboration Nikkes will ever get a rerun. In fact, certain collab Nikkes remain essential picks in Solo Raid and PvP long after their release. Not a few players still regret missing out on those pick-up banners. Therefore, securing at least a single copy of each is highly recommended.

Outstanding performance and limited collab rarity—these two reasons alone make acquiring the Persona pair worthwhile. Even if it requires stretching your resources, getting at least one copy of both Nikkes is well worth it.

However, if you are short on resources and must pick only one, Yukiko comes more recommended. First, her baseline power as a main DPS is higher than Queen's. On top of that, she possesses a skill that heals the entire squad's HP, boosting team survivability. Her reliance on Makoto is also relatively low, making her strong enough to perform effectively on her own.

Of course, that does not mean Makoto is a bad pick. Makoto's weapon, the Shotgun, offers high general versatility across various game modes. Furthermore, she can serve as a core component in Fire Shotgun squads. Therefore, the ideal choice is to secure at least one copy of both Nikkes, but if that is not possible, prioritizing Yukiko is recommended.
