Konami Digital Entertainment announced on the 27th that 'METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol.2' has officially launched worldwide on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

This collection brings the stories of Solid Snake and Big Boss to modern platform environments. Originally released for PlayStation 3 in 2008, 'Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots' has been ported to modern platforms for the first time with enhanced visuals. Players can experience Solid Snake's final mission and the conclusion of the 'Metal Gear' saga.

The collection also includes 'Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (HD Collection Version)', which depicts Big Boss establishing a private military force during the Cold War. Featuring tactical espionage action and a base-building system, it supports up to 6-player online play. Cross-play is not supported.

Additionally, the spin-off title 'Metal Gear: Ghost Babel' and 'Metal Gear Solid: Digital Soundtrack Vol.2' are included.

It also provides Screenplay Books containing the in-game text for 'Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots' and 'Metal Gear: Ghost Babel', as well as Master Books introducing their stories and characters.

Digital download versions of 'Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots' and 'Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (HD Collection Version)' can also be purchased separately from the collection. Further details can be found on the official website.
