Eclipse Glow Games showcased a new two-minute trailer, "Beneath the Veil," at Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live (ONL) on August 25 (local time). Rather than combat, the video focuses on highlighting the story surrounding the protagonist, Gwendolyn, and figures from Arthurian legend.

In particular, key figures from Arthurian legend, Guinevere and Sir Lancelot, made their debut in this video. Previously, 'Tides of Annihilation' showcased its gameplay centered around a combat system where Gwendolyn summons and fights alongside the Knights of the Round Table. Through this trailer, the developer demonstrated that major figures from Arthurian legend are also deeply involved in the game's narrative.

The new English voice actor for protagonist Gwendolyn was also officially confirmed. Angela Sant'Albano, who portrayed Grace Ashcroft in 'Resident Evil Requiem', takes on the role of Gwendolyn. Previously, Jennifer English, who played Shadowheart in 'Baldur's Gate 3' and Maelle in 'Clair Obscur: Expedition 33', was attached to the role before stepping down.

'Tides of Annihilation' is a single-player action-adventure game that combines Arthurian legend with a modern London ruined by an otherworldly invasion. Players become Gwendolyn, a survivor of the cataclysm, exploring a London where reality and fantasy intertwine and engaging in combat alongside Knights of the Round Table, each possessing distinct abilities.

The developer will also showcase an extended demo for general attendees on-site at Gamescom 2026. This demo marks the first global public playtest for 'Tides of Annihilation' and features branching paths that allow players to experience different exploration and combat scenarios.

'Tides of Annihilation' is in development for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with its release date yet to be revealed.
