HoYoverse's new title 'Nodus Fall' was revealed for the first time during Gamescom Opening Night Live.

As seen in the trailer, Nodus Fall is a co-op action game reminiscent of Monster Hunter and Elden Ring, standing out for its darker atmosphere and weightier combat that contrast with the fast, flashy action of previous HoYoverse titles.

Nodus Fall is set in a vast and diverse fantasy world inspired by various mythologies from around the globe. Rendered in a realistic art style, the continent is home to a wide range of creatures, from ancient beasts rooted in Eastern folklore to massive dragons heralding the arrival of a great cataclysm. As the game progresses, new regions with distinct ecosystems, cultures, and histories will be added.

Players assume the role of a Weaver, a being shaped by the essence of creation, entrusted with the mission to change the fate of a shattered world. Alongside powerful allies, players will fight against the cataclysm and uncover the secrets of the world.

Players form teams with companions to battle colossal beasts that once existed only in mythology, with every fight demanding teamwork and tactical adaptability. Characters can be customized with various combat styles and skill combinations, allowing players to devise unique tactics tailored to the flow of battle and their team. Defeating enemies yields resources, unlocking new skills and weapons to strengthen custom builds.
