On August 25 local time, Pearl Abyss revealed an approximately one-minute trailer for 'Crimson Desert Enhanced' during Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live (ONL) held in Cologne, Germany.

'Crimson Desert Enhanced' is a version that enriches the narrative set on the continent of Pywel and protagonist Kliff's journey by adding new cutscenes and dialogue to the existing game. The newly added scenes enhance understanding of the characters and world while deepening overall story immersion.

Language support has also been expanded. New voiceovers for five languages—Japanese, French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese (Brazil)—have been added, along with newly supported Arabic subtitles and UI.

Existing owners of 'Crimson Desert' can update to the Enhanced version for free without any additional purchase.

Along with the release of the Enhanced version, Pearl Abyss is running the first all-platform discount for 'Crimson Desert.' Through September 9, players can purchase the game at a 20% discount on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Apple Mac, and Epic Games Store.
