Smilegate announced on Monday, August 24 that BaiSha Gaming swept Team Liquid 3-0 in set score in the Grand Finals of CROSSFIRE at EWC 2026 to claim the ultimate championship.

Even before the finals began, BaiSha Gaming was expected to hold the upper hand after defeating defending champions AG.AL to reach the final. BaiSha Gaming overwhelmed their opponent 10-1 from the first set and went on to claim both the second and third sets with consecutive round scores of 10-4, taking home the $750,000 top prize (approximately 1.03 billion won).

Team Liquid desperately needed a victory in CROSSFIRE to leap into the upper ranks of the Club Championship, but they suffered a helpless defeat as key sniper Caio "Goken" dos Santos failed to make an impact.

With this victory, BaiSha Gaming, whose international performances had slowed down since winning the CFS Grand Finals in 2023, signaled a complete revival by being crowned EWC 2026 champions. As a special perk for winning EWC, the Chinese region to which BaiSha Gaming belongs secured an additional slot for the CFS 2026 Grand Finals to be held at the end of the year.

In the third-place match, KINGZERO-eSports defeated Team Stallions 3-0 in set score (10-4, 10-8, 10-5). Driven by the performance of rising rookie Sun "ice" Feihe, KINGZERO-eSports successfully concluded their international debut, finishing third in the tournament.

On the other hand, Team Stallions struggled as ace Christopher "no" Robinson failed to display his usual form. Seemingly feeling the aftereffects of a grueling five-set match that went to overtime against Team Liquid in the semifinals the previous day, the team was unable to rally as a whole and finished in fourth place.
