Wadiz (CEO Shin Hye-sung, www.wadiz.kr) announced on the 20th that approximately 30,000 supporters participated in the crowdfunding project for global smart projector brand XGIMI's new product, the 'Elfin Flip 4K.' Amid a steady stream of real-user reviews, cumulative funding has surpassed 1 billion won.
With the recent start of the first batch of shipments, real-user reviews have been pouring into the project community. Supporters cited perceived brightness and clear picture quality compared to their previous devices as key advantages. They also expressed high satisfaction with its ease of use, including lightweight portability, a design that doubles as home decor, and ceiling projection via the 150-degree flip stand. The built-in Harman Kardon speakers also received positive reviews.
One supporter noted in a review, "It's convenient because I don't have to worry about projection distance and it has auto-focus," adding, "It feels brighter than the 2,000 ANSI lumen projector I used before, and there is a clear difference in sharpness."
A Wadiz official said, "The Elfin Flip 4K is an example where Korean market response was checked first on Wadiz prior to official launch, verifying product competitiveness through real-user reviews." They added, "We will continue to expand Wadiz's role as a testbed where innovative overseas brands can quickly gauge the Korean market's potential and transition to official releases and subsequent growth."
Meanwhile, XGIMI is expanding its lineup after officially releasing its portable smart projector, 'Nova,' in Korea this past July, which previously reached a cumulative 1.1 billion won in Wadiz funding. The Nova is a portable model equipped with a 300-degree rotating gimbal as well as auto-focus and keystone correction features.
The Elfin Flip 4K project will run on Wadiz until September 4, offering perks such as discounts of up to 30% off the retail price and a 70-inch portable screen.
