A new Legendary hero, Yungun of the Hidden Masters, has been added to Seven Knights Re:Birth. Yungun is a Magic-type hero whose key mechanics involve reducing enemy turn-based buffs, stripping buffs, and making full use of Aura and HP Conversion. Alongside Yungun's addition, his exclusive equipment, 'Yungun's Ivory Plaque,' has also made its debut.

The passive skill 'Bureaucrat of Shinji' is central to Yungun. It grants himself Blessing, a 27% increase in Critical Hit Rate, a 32% increase in Weakness Attack Rate, and a Shield. When fielded with 3 or more Magic-type heroes, he gains additional All Damage Immunity through basic attacks and skill activations. Furthermore, if he suffers crowd control during battle, he cleanses all debuffs and gains Crowd Control Immunity. As a result, pairing him with Magic-type heroes is expected to be essential.

Additionally, every time all of his attacks trigger 2 times, he deals Pierce damage to 3 enemies. This damage scales with both Magic Attack and the target's Max HP. Upgrading the skill enhances the Blessing effect.

His basic attack deals damage to a single enemy and reduces the target's turn-based buffs by 1 turn. Skill 1, 'Ten-Fold Cannon,' hits 4 enemies 3 times and strips 2 buffs. At Transcendence 2, Ignore Defense is added, and at Transcendence 6, defeating an enemy with this skill triggers a consecutive cast of 'Rapid Fire' at 70% power up to 1 time.

Skill 2, 'Rapid Fire,' targets all enemies. If a target's current HP is 50% or higher, it can apply Aura, while simultaneously inflicting HP Conversion and 3 hits of damage. Upgrading the skill adds Pierce; Transcendence 2 grants Ignore Defense, and Transcendence 6 grants a consecutive cast of 'Ten-Fold Cannon' upon defeating an enemy. Aura is a status effect that prevents targets from acting for its duration and causes them to take additional fixed damage whenever hit by enemy attacks.

The new hero Yungun can also be Awakened right upon release. Awakened Yungun retains the core structure of his base form while featuring enhanced basic attacks and existing skill performance. His basic attack deals increased damage while maintaining the turn-based buff reduction effect. Skill 1, 'Ten-Fold Cannon,' retains its mechanic of dealing 3 hits of damage to 4 enemies and removing 2 buffs, with higher overall damage.

Skill 2, 'Rapid Fire,' has Pierce applied by default in his Awakened state. The mechanic of targeting all enemies with Aura, HP Conversion, and 3 hits of damage remains intact, with HP Conversion values and damage numbers scaled up for Awakening. Its Transcendence 2 and 6 effects similarly carry over, providing Ignore Defense and consecutive casts of 'Ten-Fold Cannon.'

The passive skill 'Bureaucrat of Shinji' also receives stat boosts upon Awakening. The incoming damage threshold for Blessing is lowered, while the Critical Hit Rate and Weakness Attack Rate boosts are increased. The Shield absorption value is expanded, and the Pierce damage dealt to 3 enemies every 2 attacks also increases. The structure providing All Damage Immunity and crowd control resilience when deploying 3 or more Magic-type heroes remains unchanged.

The Awakening Skill, 'Volley Fire,' targets all enemies. It can apply Aura for 2 turns and deals 2 hits of damage based on Magic Attack. Skill enhancement adds 65% Ignore Defense. This provides an additional source of Aura alongside boosted firepower.

Balance adjustments were also made for Trude. Skill 1, 'One Shot Is Enough!', maintains its target count of 4 enemies while gaining higher damage and adding the Concussion effect. Concussion is a crowd control effect that prevents targets from acting for its duration and extends its duration when hit by enemy attacks dealing 2 or more hits. Upgrading the skill further increases damage and grants Crowd Control Immunity to herself. At Transcendence 2, a Shield lasting 3 turns is also provided to Universal-type allies.

Skill 2, 'Let's Play!', has changed its Critical Damage increase effect—which previously applied to herself—into a support effect for Universal-type allies. Its mechanic of attacking all enemies remains, with increased damage when upgraded. In addition, it now provides increased Critical Damage to Universal-type allies, and at Transcendence 2, it can grant Universal-type allies a Shield based on Physical Attack.

The passive skill 'The Bliss of Battle' has also been adjusted. While retaining the mechanics of granting herself Endurance, Block Rate Increase, and Revive, Crowd Control Immunity has been added. Furthermore, Universal-type allies now receive 1 debuff cleanse every time Trude performs 2 basic attacks or 1 skill activation. With this adjustment, Trude's overall utility has been bolstered, enhancing her ability to support Universal-type allies. A Rate Up Pick-up Summon for Trude has also opened.

Two new costumes have also been added. Ace's high-tier costume, 'Guild Guardian,' can be purchased in the Dressing Room. Omok's 'Guide of the Duel' costume has been added to the Real-Time Arena reward list and the Dressing Room. The Rare grade costume can be obtained as a reward for finishing at Master III or higher in the Real-Time Arena, while the High grade costume is awarded for ranks from Platinum III to Diamond I. These costumes can only be claimed prior to maintenance on October 1.

Guild War draw rules and points have also been improved. If both sides' Castle Defenses are completely destroyed during the Guild War combat period, victory is determined by comparing remaining attack attempts. The guild with more remaining attacks wins, and if both guilds have the same number of remaining attacks, it is treated as a draw. The points earned for a draw have been increased from the previous 2,000 points to 2,500 points.

Total War season rounds have been changed from 20 rounds to 22 rounds, and the monster appearing on Floor 383 of the Tower of Infinity has been changed from Rare Xiao to Legendary Lina. For Total War, the added rounds are expected to increase the likelihood of reaching the Legendary tier compared to before.

New events have also kicked off alongside the update. The Summer Vacation Special Event Part 2 distributes rewards based on the number of summons performed on the new hero Yungun's Pick-Up Summon. Based on summon milestones, players can obtain Gold, Evolution Material Selection Chests, Hero Summon Tickets, Rate Up Hero Summon Tickets, Key Chests, and Shining Skill Enhancement Stones. Reaching 150 summons grants Yungun's exclusive equipment, 'Yungun's Ivory Plaque,' while milestones past 200 summons offer Awakening Stones and Crystals of Attunement.

An Arena Challenge Event is also underway. Rewards are distributed according to the number of Arena matches played, structured in tiers from 10 to 100 plays. Key rewards include Key Chests, Hero Summon Tickets, High Grade Hero Summon Tickets, Marks of Duel, Exclusive Equipment Wish Summon Tickets, Winner's Medals, Pet Summon Tickets, and Crystals of Attunement.

The Summer Point Mission is an event where players accumulate points by completing daily and one-time missions. Missions can be completed by playing content such as Hero Growth, Raids, checking the Content Status Board, Pet Hatching, Arena, Growth Dungeons, and Mini-Games. Stage rewards include Gold, Summon Tickets, Pooki's Tokens, Shining Skill Enhancement Stones, Keys, Raid Tickets, High Grade Eggs, Star Crystals, Essence of Chaos, Essence of Oblivion, Exclusive Equipment Wish Summon Tickets, and Crystals of Attunement.

The Summer Special Check-In Event consists of rewards spread across 7 total check-in days. On Day 1, players receive 10 Hero Summon Tickets, and on Day 2, 10 Pet Summon Tickets. Subsequent days grant Key Chests, Exclusive Equipment Wish Summon Tickets, 1 million Gold, Crystals of Attunement, and Pet Wish Summon Tickets.
