Clouded Leopard Entertainment Inc. (CEO Chen Wenwen) has released the Korean version demo for the story RPG Trails in the Sky the 2nd and revealed the latest game details.
A remake of Nihon Falcom Corporation's (CEO Toshihiro Kondo) flagship title, the game offers a demo across various platforms, including Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Steam. The demo allows players to experience approximately 10 hours of content, ranging from Prologue "A Girl's Resolve" to Chapter 1 "Sneaking Shadows."
Save data created in the demo can be carried over to the full game upon release. Players who possess clear data from the previous title, Trails in the Sky the 1st, and import it when starting the demo will receive the carry-over bonus "Classic Style SC." However, because the demo contains spoilers for the previous entry, players who have not yet seen the ending of the previous game are recommended to play the free demo of Trails in the Sky the 1st first.
When carrying over save data, the full game must be updated to the latest version. For the PlayStation 5 and Steam versions, demo save data can be loaded directly from the "Load Game" menu on the title screen, while the Nintendo Switch version carries over data via the "Transfer" menu on the title screen. Features such as "Movie Playback" and "Viewer Mode" are not supported in this demo.
Additionally, to prevent account mismatch issues, each set of save data must use the same PlayStation Network account or Nintendo Account, and trophies cannot be earned when transferring save data on the PlayStation 5 version.
