Neptune (CEO Kang Yul-bin) has officially begun the launch process for its new multiverse Wuxia RPG, 'Sword Hero Zero,' developed by global game developer Han-Squirrel Games, by opening global pre-registration.
Pre-registration is available via Google Play, the Apple App Store, Steam, and by registering a phone number on the official website for Sword Hero Zero. The game incorporates concepts of multiple worlds and dimensional travel into a Wuxia setting, centering its story on the 'Sword Heaven Secret Realm,' a space connected to all other dimensions. Players will experience an epic narrative in which they gather heroes from the past and work to change their tragic fates.
The game features a distinct visual style that combines emotive 2D presentation with polished 3D cartoon rendering, offering the fun of collecting and developing 52 unique martial artists. Additionally, players can enjoy intricate, real-time, strategy-based combat that utilizes a deck-building system with 34 types of strategy cards, alongside mechanics involving elemental affinities, internal and external martial arts, and various status effects.
The developer, Han-Squirrel Games, is a proven studio with a strong reputation in the Wuxia genre. Their flagship mobile Wuxia RPG, 'Han-Squirrel Jianghu,' has achieved 7 million cumulative global downloads and ₩45 billion in total revenue. Their Steam title, 'Sands of Salzaar,' also demonstrated their development prowess by selling 2 million copies and receiving an 'Overwhelmingly Positive' rating of 82%.
Kwon Seung-hyun, director of Neptune's Game Business Division, stated, "As the global publisher of Sword Hero Zero, we will do our utmost to provide a service that satisfies local gamers through localization tailored to the characteristics of each region." He added, "With the official launch scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year, we ask for your continued interest and support."
