On the 17th, Kim 'Right' Seon-jae of BNK FEARX defeated kt Rolster's Kim 'JM' Jeong-min in the second match of the '2026 FSL Summer' Final Stage at the Jamsil DN Colosseum, advancing to the winners' bracket. After turning the tide in the third set—where he had been on the brink of defeat—by capitalizing on his opponent's mistake, 'Right' sealed the victory with a dominant 6-2 win in the fourth set.

The following is the full transcript of the winner's interview with 'Right'.

Q. You secured a great victory by taking down 'JM,' who is often called the 'Emperor.' How do you feel.

'Right' = Honestly, I thought it was a miracle just to make it this far from the Round of 16, and I expected it to be very difficult against 'JM.' I'm so happy to have won today. I received a lot of advice from people around me. In particular, Gyeong-seop, a former pro player, and Tae-hyun, who does personal streaming, were a huge help. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank them both.

Q. What was the meaning behind the celebration you showed today.

'Right' = During the last 'Ilta Bong-ssaem' broadcast, Bong-ssaem said I looked like a robot, so I prepared a robot celebration for today. I don't think it came across very well (laughs). I'll prepare an even more fun and enjoyable celebration for next time.

Q. It seems a new 'God of Penalty Shootouts' has emerged in the FSL. By winning the first set today, you've maintained a 100% win rate in shootouts. Have you gained real confidence in them?

'Right' = Actually, our team's coach, 'Replay,' teaches me almost everything about penalty shootouts. He's so good at predicting them that you could call him a master. I think I was able to win today's shootout thanks to Coach 'Replay.'

Q. Your defense using the tall Vieira whenever 'JM' had a free-kick opportunity was truly impressive.

'Right' = It's a defensive method I use often. When placing players in a free-kick wall, I believe you have a slightly higher chance of blocking the shot if you use a tall player rather than a short one. So, I put in Vieira, the tallest player on our team, and I'm very grateful that he really earned his keep today.

Q. It was a very intense match. When were you sure of the victory?

'Right' = In the fourth set, once the score gap widened to three goals and I started controlling possession while managing the game, I felt the victory was firmly in my hands.

Q. How would you evaluate your own performance?

'Right' = Honestly, I don't think it went as smoothly as the last Round of 16 match. I'll work on fixing my shortcomings so I can be better prepared for my next match against 'Ho-seok.'

Q. In your previous post-match interview, 'Hoseok' said he thought 'JM' would be the one to come up. Do you have a word for him.

'Right' = I lost to him in the group stage, but I believe I can win this time if I prepare well. I'll prepare as hard as I can to defeat 'Ho-seok' and aim for a spot in the semifinals.
