SNK is introducing 'Duck King' as the second DLC character for the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Season 3 pass. A fan-favorite fighter since the series' debut, he will be released on August 27, complete with his own dedicated story content.

SNK announced that 'Duck King,' the second DLC character for Season 3 ('DESTINED FOR REVENGE') of the fighting game FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves (Fatal Fury: CotW), will be released on August 27, 2026.

Duck King is a character who has appeared since the first entry in the series, Fatal Fury: King of Fighters, released in 1991. As both a professional dancer and a martial artist, he utilizes a unique combat style that blends dance with martial arts. He is characterized by his light-footed steps and unpredictable movements, and he began his path as a fighter after a fateful encounter with Terry Bogard.

In the lore, Duck King is known as the 'Dance King of South Town.' Since his defeat by Terry in his youth, he has maintained a relationship as both a rival and a friend. He is a frequent visitor to Pao Pao Cafe, one of the series' iconic locations, and is often seen with his pet chick, P-chan. Recent lore additions even suggest he has been spotted dancing with DJ Ganachi.

Anri Katsu provides the Japanese voice, while Cedric Williams provides the English voice.

With the addition of Duck King, exclusive stories will also be added to the 'EOST Mode' and 'Arcade Mode,' where players can enjoy character-specific narratives.

In the RPG-style 'EOST Mode,' the story unfolds as Duck King faces off once again against Wolfgang Krauser, who had previously defeated him without resistance. After Duck King was believed to have taken his own life following his loss to Terry, Krauser reappears in South Town, prompting Duck King to finally settle their long-standing score.

In 'Arcade Mode,' the story begins with Pao Pao Cafe facing the threat of being sold. Determined to help his longtime friend and cafe owner, Richard Meyer, by winning more prize money, Duck King decides to enter the KOF tournament. His longtime rival, Terry, is also participating in the event.

Through Season 3, SNK is sequentially adding DLC characters, new stages, and in-game content every month. The first character of Season 3, Rick Strowd, is currently available. Following Duck King, Kim Kaphwan is scheduled for release in September, an unannounced character in October, Laocorn in November, and another unannounced character in December.

The Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Revenge Edition, which includes the base game and Season Passes 1, 2, and 3, is currently available for ₩54800. The Season 3 pass is also available separately for ₩22800.

Fatal Fury: CotW is a fighting game that balances accessible controls with strategic combat elements. It features a unique art style, the new 'REV' combat system, and the single-player RPG content 'EOST,' while also supporting cross-platform play and rollback netcode.
