'KILLA,' a 3D adventure story game currently in development by the Korean indie team Gumgyuldan, is being featured at the Toei Games booth at BIC 2026, Korea's premier indie game festival held at BEXCO in Busan from the 14th to the 16th.
KILLA is a 3D mystery adventure game that follows the journey of the protagonist, Valhalla, as she seeks revenge against the person who killed her mentor. From Valhalla's perspective, the player arrives on a mysterious island and uses a special ability called 'Resonance' to view suspects' memories and uncover hidden truths. Following its appearances at BIC and TGS in 2025, the game was signed by Toei Games for publishing. Starting with PlayX4 earlier this year, the team plans to showcase the game at various events, including BIC, to introduce it to domestic and international players and industry partners.

Gumgyuldan is a team formed by four developers who met in a university club; for all of them, 'Killa' is their first game development project. Driven by their passion for game development, they are refining 'Killa,' a mystery adventure game that features unique visuals and the sensibility of a puppet show. Toei Games is a publishing brand established this past April by the Japanese entertainment giant Toei, known for producing numerous hits such as 'Dragon Ball,' 'One Piece,' and 'Kamen Rider.' Seeking to expand beyond its traditional film and animation business into new areas of entertainment, the company has been focusing on various indie games, and as a first step, has taken on the publishing of three indie titles, including 'Killa.'
A mystery adventure built with unique visuals and sensibility, 'Killa' can be experienced at the Toei Games booth at BIC 2026, and a demo version is currently available on its Steam page. Further information can be found on the Steam page.
