On the 15th, DN Superus defeated BNK FEARX 2-0 in the Rise Group of the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season, held at LoL PARK in Jongno. Although they were eliminated from Play-In contention early on, they are currently on a three-game winning streak, acting as a 'spoiler' for other teams in the Rise Group fighting for position.

The following is a post-match interview with Kim 'Chasy' Dan-woo, who was named Player of the Match (POM) for his stellar performances on Lee Sin in Game 1 and Vi in Game 2.

Q. You really played the spoiler role today, taking down BNK FEARX, who were leading the Rise Group. How do you feel about the win.

'Chasy' = We lost to BNK FEARX 0-2 in a helpless fashion during Round 3. I told myself then, 'If we meet them again, I have to play well and win no matter what.' I'm so proud and happy that things went exactly as I planned today.

Q. Game 1 was a thrilling comeback. You turned the tide with a massive victory in the teamfight at the Dragon pit just before Baron. Could you explain that situation.

'Chasy' = I believe that was the fight for the third Dragon. We judged that we could win if we initiated, so we engaged, and it naturally led to a big win. To toot my own horn a bit, we were able to take Baron because I successfully kicked the enemy Ezreal into our team as Lee Sin. I think the player on Lee Sin did a pretty good job. (Laughs)

Q. In the final teamfight, you pulled off another picture-perfect kick on Lee Sin. How was that play designed?

'Chasy' = From the moment I landed my Q skill on the enemy Bard, I called out to my teammates, 'I'm going to look for Ezreal, I'm going to kick Ezreal.' I had to decide in a split second how to kick him so he couldn't react, and it worked out perfectly as calculated, leading to a great result.

Q. Watching you play today, it seems your confidence on Lee Sin is exceptional. How does he compare to other champions?

'Chasy' = Lee Sin is definitely a pick I'm confident in, but I'm confident on all other jungle champions as well. No matter who I play, I can always show the fans a good performance.

Q. In Game 2, the opponent brought out Udyr as a joker pick. It must have been unexpected—what was the team's reaction?

'Chasy' = Udyr is a champion I haven't seen in scrims or tournaments for almost two years. However, I've faced him many times in the past, so I knew his strengths and how he operates in the game. We responded well to that and were able to win the game easily.

Q. In the second set, you brought out the 'Ahri-Vi' combination, and Vi ended up with an incredible amount of overgrowth, even recording the highest amount of dealt damage in the game—a rare sight indeed. What was the driving force behind such massive growth?

'Chasy' = I felt the opponent had prepared a strategy to disrupt my jungle pathing from the start to keep me down. But I made the best pathing decisions and responses I could to counter that. By staying calm and focusing on my growth, good results and situations followed.

Q. Are you aware that fans have recently been calling you 'DNGend' (DN Superus Legend)?

'Chasy' = I didn't know that. It's true that we've been getting good results since I joined the team, but I believe this is all thanks to my teammates, the head coach, and the coaches who have been doing such a great job. I want to say this is a 'team result' that we all created together.

Q. The remaining teams in the Rise Group must be very wary of DN Superus now. Do you have a word of warning for your next opponent, Hanjin Brion.

'Chasy' = We've beaten Hanjin Brion before, both early in the regular season and at the KeSPA Cup. We'll prepare well for the next match to show them the true 'spicy' taste of a spoiler, and we'll give them a proper fight.
