On the 14th, Dplus KIA secured a 2-1 victory at the '2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK)' team roadshow, T1 Home Ground, held at the KSPO DOME in Seoul Olympic Park. Following their win at Gen.G's 'House of Gen.G' roadshow, they have further solidified their reputation as a 'formidable away team.'

The following is the full transcript of the interview with the Dplus KIA roster.

Q. You achieved a victory on the grand stage of T1's home ground. Could you each share your thoughts on the win.

Head Coach Kim Dae-ho = I am truly happy we won. Just incredibly happy.

'Siwoo': It feels great to come all the way to the home ground venue and take the win. While there were some aspects of our performance that were disappointing, there were also parts I was pleased with because the highlights were so impactful.

'Lucid': It was wonderful to play in front of so many people, and I'm even happier that we won.

'ShowMaker': I'm also very happy that we won today.

'Smash': I think it was a really good match. I had high expectations for coming to an away game at the home ground, and it was fun and I'm thrilled we won.

'Kellin': It was great to be able to play such an exciting match in front of so many LCK fans.

Q. (To 'Smash') This was a match against your former team, T1. When you entered, the crowd cheered for you just as loudly as they did for the T1 players. How did that feel?

'Smash': I was actually quite excited even before walking out. Since I played for T1 until last year, I had a lot of mixed emotions. But when I actually entered, the support and cheers from not just our fans but also the T1 fans were incredible—it felt amazing. I don't even know how to put it into words; I was just so happy.

Q. In the Game 3 pick-ban, you picked Cassiopeia, but after seeing the opponent pick Viktor, you added Akali and swapped Cassiopeia to the bottom lane. Was this a pre-planned team strategy?

Head Coach Kim Dae-ho = We conduct mock pick-bans and map out expected scenarios for every set we play, not just Game 3. Our success rate with these is quite high, so all the players were fully prepared with the counter-strategies. Yes, it was a prepared strategy.

Q. I'm curious about what you focused on while preparing for today's away game at T1's home ground, and what strategy you believe led to the victory.

Head Coach Kim Dae-ho = We suffered a crushing defeat against T1 in the third round. After that loss, we went through scrims and obsessively addressed the weaknesses that were exposed. Today, we relied on those refined fundamentals, and everyone did their best, which led to a good result.

Q. Following the Gen.G roadshow, you've now won two consecutive away games, including this T1 roadshow. It must feel more thrilling than winning at LoL PARK; how do you feel?

'ShowMaker': Coming to these away games and playing in front of a large crowd is a great experience in itself. People say they don't pay attention to it, but I think the psychological burden on the away team is definitely significant. I believe the experience of winning in such an unfamiliar environment will be a valuable asset when we eventually reach Worlds or other bigger stages. I'm grateful for the opportunity and the win; it's very meaningful.

Q. Do you think there is a driving force behind Dplus KIA being particularly strong in these away games?

'ShowMaker': Honestly, despite the 'library' meme, it's not like we've always won away games. We lost some last year, too. So, rather than us being uniquely strong at away games this year, I think it's just that the Dplus KIA team itself has become more solid. Even if today's match had been a regular game at LoL PARK, I believe we would have won.

Q. Throughout the non-ADC meta, many Supporters complained that it "didn't feel like playing the game" or that it was "no fun." With a high probability of returning to a traditional ADC meta in the next patch, how do you feel?

'Kellin': It's not that I had complaints specifically because it was a non-ADC meta. However, the non-ADC meta compositions were complex and exhausting because they required so much brainpower, so I am personally relieved that the meta is coming to an end.

Q. 'Kellin's' form has been noticeably good recently. Your performance has improved significantly since the start of the LCK regular season, and it feels like you've leveled up once again. Was there a special catalyst?

'Kellin': It's not that there was one specific catalyst; it's always thanks to our Head Coach's excellent guidance. And above all, my partner 'Smash' is such a fantastic player. I often thought that if I didn't perform well with such great teammates and coaching staff, it would be a shame and a burden to the team. I think my form improved because I doubled my efforts to avoid being a liability and to show only the best version of myself.

Q. Where would you rank Dplus KIA's performance today within the LCK, and could you explain why.

Head Coach Kim Dae-ho = I want to give a universal answer that most people would agree with. However, to be honest, I'm not sure if it would resonate with the public. Still, if I must be honest, based on my personal assessment and the various in-game metrics I track, I believe our performance today was world-class. It might sound like I'm overreacting, but the plays the players showed today were the best, most overwhelmingly perfect performance I've seen in a long time. There were truly so many things they did well today.

Q. Lastly, a word for the fans.

Head Coach Kim Dae-ho = I sincerely thank you for your constant support and interest. Today, I felt especially grateful to our players—I even felt a sense of respect for them. We may not be able to maintain this level of perfect communication and performance every single time, but even if we stumble or go off track, we will become a sturdy team that can regain its center and consistently perform well.
