A new PC title currently in development by Line Games has attracted 150k global users ahead of its official launch, signaling strong early potential.
Line Games (CEO Bae Young-jin) announced on the 14th that the number of global participants in the Steam playtest for its self-developed new PC title, 'QUIET,' has exceeded 150k.
Since launching its Steam playtest on the 3rd, 'QUIET' surpassed 30k participants within three days, and interest continued to grow as the total reached 150k global users in about ten days. According to Line Games, the current test participants are evenly distributed across the globe, including Asia, Europe, and Latin America. This success is attributed to the positive reception of the game's unique visual style, its first stage, and the core cooperative gameplay elements required to escape.
Line Games plans to accelerate development by incorporating user feedback collected during this Steam playtest from various perspectives. The company aims to maximize the game's level of polish by the time of its official release.
'QUIET' is a cooperative comedy-horror title where duck-like aliens who crash-land on Earth attempt to escape while avoiding the watchful eye of their elderly landlady. The game supports both single-player and up to four-player co-op. Information on how to participate in the playtest and further details about the game can be found on its Steam store page.
