Nexon (co-CEOs Kang Dae-hyun and Kim Jung-wook) announced on the 13rd that it has updated its action game 'Dungeon&Fighter Mobile' with the new 'Asmodae' season and an increased level cap.

With this update, the maximum character level has been raised from 85 to 90. The update introduces a new storyline following adventurers who, caught in a sudden dimensional disaster, are transported to 'Asmodae' alongside the fortune teller 'Iris.' Additionally, the new dungeon region 'Metro Center' and five types of 'Farming Dungeons' have been opened.

A new dungeon system is also being introduced. The 'Farming Dungeon' offers four difficulty levels based on Exorcism, while 'Magyeong,' a forbidden dungeon that can be played without consuming Fatigue or entry limits by using 'Unlocking Degrees,' allows players to earn a new resource called 'Gold Coin.' 'Gold Coin' can be traded on the Auction Hall and provides a cost-reduction benefit when used to enhance level 80 equipment. By collecting the entry material 'Bismuth Comet' in the 'Magyeong' dungeon, players can also challenge the hidden dungeon 'Astral Rift,' where they can obtain materials for 'Legacy Exceed' equipment—the highest item grade—as well as 'Weapon Avatar Chests.'

A wide array of new equipment has been added. Level 80 and 85 weapons and gear are now available, including various combinations such as the '5.3.3 set' for mixing armor, accessories, and special equipment, the '11-set' which provides powerful set effects, and 'Level 85 Legacy Exceed' equipment crafted from Exceed-grade materials. Furthermore, the previous systems for enhancement, refinement, and enchantment have been integrated into 'Enchantment Slots' to improve equipment management, and a new transfer function allows players to move trait options between different pieces of gear.

Content for top-tier players, 'Proof of Battlefield Season 2,' also begins. Characters with a minimum Exorcism of 150k can participate, with up to three characters per account allowed to challenge it weekly. From stage 10 onwards, the content operates as a competitive ranking segment. Rewards include 'Level 85 Exceed Equipment Jars,' 'Equipment Reward Jars' containing new level 80 epic equipment, and 'Mysterious Material Selection Pouches' containing 'Lion Cokes' and 'Refinement Stones.

On August 20, the new season's first elite dungeon, 'Garden of Moonlight,' will be added. Featuring a new story set after 'Eroded Sirocco,' the major 'Asmodae' region 'Metro Center Village' will be unlocked. Players who meet the level 90 requirement and have at least 170k Exorcism can challenge this dungeon in groups of up to three across Normal, Expert, and Master difficulties. The battle against 'Yashin, the Walker of Moonlight' unfolds in two phases, offering various rewards such as 'Level 85 and 80 equipment' and 'Gold Coins' depending on the difficulty.

Nexon is hosting various events to celebrate the new season. The 'Re:Level-up Asmodae Life' event, running until 6:00 AM on September 17, rewards players with 'Distorted Prisms' for reaching levels 86 through 89, and a 'Level 90 Achievement Gift Chest' containing an exclusive title upon reaching level 90. During the same period, the 'I Want to Be a Asmodae Resident' event rewards players with items like 'Unlocking Stones' and 'Asmodae Fatigue Recovery Potions' for completing character-specific missions, such as 'Clear Metro Center Dungeons 20 times.
