On the 13rd, Nexon (co-CEOs Kang Dae-hyun and Kim Jung-wook) released an update for its popular online FPS game 'Sudden Attack,' adding two new bomb mission maps: 'The Mall' and 'Line.'

These two new maps are specialized for small-scale combat, such as 2v2 matches. They support 1v1 to 3v3 in general matches and 2v2 to 3v3 in clan matches. Both maps support clan matches and map Adeptness tracking.

'The Mall' is set in a high-end shopping center and is divided into two main areas: the 'Shop District,' specialized for long-range combat, and the 'Meeting Plaza,' where close-quarters combat primarily occurs. Success depends on choosing the right path for the situation and fighting for map control.

'Line' is a redesigned version of the existing bomb mission map 'Skyline.' By closing off the original second-floor area and access routes and adding two new entry points on the first floor, the map now offers faster and more intense combat.

To celebrate the update, Nexon is hosting a Challenge Quest until August 27. Players who meet specific conditions—such as enemy Eliminations, round wins, or total matches played on the new maps—will receive various Items and EXP Rewards, including 'Secondary Weapon Duration Extension (Permanent),' 'Plus Combo Pack EX (15 Days),' 'Art Grenade - Laughter (15 Days),' and 'Fake Nickname (3 Days).'

Additionally, a variety of events are being held to celebrate the game's 21st anniversary. The '21st Anniversary Eve Showtime Event,' running until August 19, grants special gifts seven times a day at set times just for logging in. Rewards include '21st Anniversary Tokens,' 'G18(S) 21st (Permanent),' 'SCAR_v2(IS) 21st (Permanent),' and 'Showtime Rare Container,' with additional exclusive Rewards available for players at Internet cafes.

The '21st Anniversary Countdown Chat Event' will also run until August 16. Players who log in and type a specific phrase in the global chat will receive daily Rewards such as 'FAMAS(IK) Korea (Permanent),' 'Custom Kill Booster (7 Days),' 'My Gun Kill Booster (7 Days),' and 'Permanent Magazine (x2).'

The final voting for the 21st Anniversary Weapon Skin Idea Contest has also begun. Public voting on the entries will continue until August 20, and all participants will receive a 'September Monthly Character Multi-Count.' The final winners will be announced on August 24.

Furthermore, the popular 'Rock - Paper - Scissors' event returns with new Rewards until September 3. Players can earn entry tickets by completing daily missions for a chance to win key Rewards such as '[M]TRG21(IS) Noble Lv.1 (Permanent),' '[M]NA-94(IS) Noble Lv.1 (Permanent),' and '[M]KRISS(IS) Noble Lv.1 (Permanent).' Players can also earn up to 10 '21st Anniversary Tokens' per day, which can be used at the '21st Anniversary Exchange center.'

Finally, a Pass Ticket Reward event will run until August 27. Rewards are given in five stages based on the number of Pass Tickets purchased during the event period, with the final stage offering a 'Duration Extension (Permanent) Chest' and '1k SP.'
