Nexture (CEO Lee Dae-hoon) announced on the 13rd that it has released an August update for its cafe management simulator game, 'I Love Coffee,' featuring an expansion of a popular existing theme and improvements to the 'Coffee Lab' for better user convenience.
The update highlights an expansion of the 'Egypt' theme, first introduced in November 2021. By adding new interior items while maintaining the original concept, the update allows users to decorate their cafe spaces with greater variety.
New beverage and food menu items are also being added to complement the theme update. Users can now sell 'Horchata,' a drink inspired by exotic Egyptian culinary culture, and the traditional dessert 'Basbousa.' Additionally, a new jukebox featuring new BGM has been added to further enhance the atmosphere of the Egypt theme.
The 'Coffee Lab,' a new content feature introduced during the 14th-anniversary update, has also been improved with a focus on user convenience. Enhancements include a menu bookmarking feature and reinforced help documentation to streamline the user experience.
Two new special machines for the Coffee Lab have also been introduced. Since access to special machines was previously limited, this update introduces new versions with simplified functions, allowing more users to experience the Coffee Lab content. Furthermore, a new level up event has been added to increase the enjoyment of progressing through the Coffee Lab, where users can earn rewards at each stage as they increase their level.
Additionally, various seasonal events will be held to mark Liberation Day. Users who log in on August 15 will receive a 'Large Flagpole' interior item as a special reward, and additional rewards can be earned by completing a dedicated Liberation Day quest. Notably, from Liberation Day through the weekend, I Love Coffee will feature its first-ever '2x EXP Weekly Buff.' During this event, the EXP earned will be doubled, supporting users in growing their cafes and leveling up.
Beyond these updates, the service has been further improved through enhancements to the 'I Love Pass' monthly subscription product and the correction of several in-game bugs.
A Nexture representative stated, "This update focuses on adding new content to the long-beloved Egypt theme while improving the Coffee Lab, which was introduced for our 14th anniversary, to make it more convenient to use. We will continue to develop existing content and add diverse seasonal features to ensure that I Love Coffee remains a source of fresh enjoyment for a long time to come."
