111% (CEO Kim Kang-an), the gaming subsidiary of IP culture-tech company Superfast, officially launched its new title, Random Dice 2, at 10:00 AM on the 13rd. The game aims to build on the success of the original, which recorded 21.56 million cumulative downloads worldwide.

This new release is the official sequel to Random Dice: PVP Tower Defense, a defense game that has been widely loved by domestic and international users for seven years, achieving 21.56 million global cumulative downloads from its 2019 launch through the end of June this year. To accommodate existing users, the original game will continue to be serviced alongside the new title.

The most notable change is the complete removal of the Gacha system. Players no longer rely on random probability or microtransactions; instead, they use resources earned solely through gameplay to directly select the dice they want. This fundamentally improves the game's core, ensuring that victory is determined by the decks and tactics built by the users themselves.

The dice growth structure has also been revamped. To address the limitation where growth was impossible once a die reached the highest '7-pip' grade, the new title introduces an 'Awakening Effect' system. This triggers unique special abilities for each die, allowing players to unlock more powerful new skills and stats.

Additionally, 'Supporter' characters, which were not present in the previous game, have been added to introduce new variables to the battlefield. These characters provide powerful options that directly influence the flow of battle, such as 'discarding dice,' 'changing dice types,' and 'pushing the line.' Consequently, users must employ multifaceted and dynamic strategies that account for both dice combinations and the effective use of Supporters.

Chae Gyeong-su, Product Manager (PM) at 111%, stated, "We aimed to create a well-made game where users are fully rewarded for the time and strategy they invest," adding, "Players will be able to experience the unique fun of Random Dice 2, which offers even greater strategic depth through its dice combinations."

Meanwhile, users who participated in the pre-registration will receive a variety of rewards as planned, including a 'Poison Dice Exclusive Jelly Skin,' 'Gold,' and various 'Profile' and 'Banner' items.
