Mgame (CEO Kwon Yi-hyeong) announced on the 13rd that it has updated its self-developed 2D side-scrolling martial arts MMORPG, 'Ghost Soul M,' with a new class, 'Magi,' and launched a series of summer events.

'Ghost Soul M' is a mobile game featuring a unique world that blends 2D retro aesthetics with ghosts and martial arts. It captures the essence of martial arts combat, including light-foot techniques and mid-air movement, within a side-scrolling action framework to provide deep immersion and diverse gameplay.

The newly added 'Magi' is a spirit-user class belonging to the Demonic Cult. They wield fans and staves as weapons and fight by summoning creatures like bats and ghosts. They can also unleash wide-area attacks using the Fire Spirit 'Volcanus' and the Wind Spirit 'Zirphe.' Both spirits grow automatically alongside the character's level, making the class accessible even for beginners.

New content has also been introduced. 'Bell of Requiem' is a cooperative mode where users work together; all players on the server receive a EXP buff based on the total cumulative damage dealt. It is available daily, helping players grow consistently.

Skills for existing classes have also been improved. The Assassin and Shadow classes have received defense buffs, while the Strategist class has had the casting motions and delays of certain skills adjusted for a smoother combat experience.

Events celebrating the launch of the 'Magi' class are underway. Users leveling up a Magi will receive a free 500% EXP buff item, and a level-achievement event running until November 4 offers enhancement items and exclusive cosmetic items. Additionally, a dedicated attendance event for the Magi class will continue until September 23.

A variety of summer season events have also been prepared. A level-achievement event for existing classes—Warrior, Assassin, Taoist, Historian, and Archer—will run until August 26, rewarding players with 200% EXP buff items and equipment.

Furthermore, players can collect eight types of summer dessert items from defeated monsters to register in their collection for up to a 200% EXP buff. To commemorate Liberation Day, an event offering five types of cosmetic items, including a Taegeukgi headband and commemorative outfits, has also been prepared, allowing players to enjoy various benefits throughout the summer season.

Cho Gwang-cheol, director of 'Ghost Soul M' at Mgame, stated, "This update includes a variety of content, such as the new Magi class and the cooperative 'Bell of Requiem' mode," adding, "We hope players enjoy the rich events we have prepared for the summer."
