Dplus KIA secured a 2-0 victory against kt Rolster in the Legend Group match of the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season Round 4, held at LoL PARK in Jongno-gu, Seoul, on the 12nd. Having pulled off a comeback win in their previous Round 3 encounter, Dplus KIA defeated kt Rolster once again, led by the performance of Jeon 'Siwoo' Si-woo, who was looking to avenge his previous solo-kill loss.
'Siwoo' dominated the battlefield with a surprise Kled pick in Game 1 and created a turning point for a comeback with a solo kill in the disadvantageous Game 2. With this win, Dplus KIA reached 15 victories, leapfrogging kt Rolster to take sole possession of 4th place in the Legend Group. Below is the full interview with 'Siwoo', who was named Player of the Match (POM).

Q. You secured a 2-0 win today and moved up to 4th place in the Legend Group. How do you feel about the victory.
'Siwoo' = I feel twice as good because we won 2-0 with such a clean performance. Also, I really wanted to play Kled in Game 1, and I'm grateful to our head coach for allowing it.
Q. In the in-game voice chat, you said, "This is my first time playing Kled." Despite it being your first time in a tournament, what made you decide to pick him so boldly?
'Siwoo' = I've seen Kled appear in tournaments a few times, and I thought he was a pretty good pick in terms of champion stats and macro play, provided you handle him well. So, I decided to take a bold approach, treating it like a practice run.
Q. In your interview after the last match against KT, you said, 'It's frustrating that I gave up a solo kill. I'll pay them back in the next match.' Today, you got solo kills in both Games 1 and 2, completing your revenge perfectly.
'Siwoo' = The solo kill in Game 1 was expected since I was already in such a favorable position, so it wasn't exactly thrilling. However, the solo kill in Game 2 was a crucial play that completely shifted the momentum in a game where we were behind, so that felt really good.
Q. In the Game 2 solo kill, you found the perfect angle to take down Jayce with K'Sante. How did you assess the situation at the time?
'Siwoo' = Honestly, in the Jayce vs. K'Sante matchup, even if there's a skill gap between the players, K'Sante with his ultimate skill is a counter that Jayce can never beat. Plus, 'Lucid' called out that he was coming to back me up from the bottom, which made it easier and gave me the confidence to go for the kill.
Q. In Game 2, you went with a 'Vi-Taliyah' composition. Dplus KIA had lost both games with this combo before today, so why did you choose it despite that record?
'Siwoo' = The strength of Vi is her fast movement toward the side lanes. We also had Bard, and Taliyah has great synergy with Vi, so I judged that the overall team composition was very well-balanced.
Q. Early in Game 2, Dplus KIA struggled a bit as the opponent's Jayce grew too strong. How did you try to turn the tide?
'Siwoo' = Jayce picked up some early kills, so things weren't going our way. But I managed to farm well in the top lane, and once I had some items, I realized I could win the side lane duels. That's when I thought, 'This game is definitely winnable.'
Q. With this win, the team has climbed to 4th place in the fiercely competitive Legend Group. What is your ultimate goal for this season?
'Siwoo' = If you look at the standings, the teams from 1st to 5th are all very close. Since we've got the momentum, I'm going to set my sights on 1st place and work hard to get there.
Q. Your next match is a home game against T1. They are the only team Dplus KIA lost to in Round 3. Do you have any words regarding the next match.
'Siwoo' = There isn't much time left until the home game against T1. Still, we will stick to our usual practice routine, keep our mental game strong, and prepare hard as a team to make sure we win that away game.
