Smilegate announced on Wednesday the 12nd that character pre-creation for its new MMORPG, Eclipse: The Awakening (developed by NPIXEL, hereinafter 'Eclipse'), will begin on the 19th at 12:00 PM. The company also unveiled its official partnership-based skin program.

Smilegate is supporting character pre-creation for Eclipse to ensure players can jump straight into the game upon its official launch. A total of 24 server groups have been prepared for this event, and players can visit the official website to secure their preferred server, character name, and class in advance. Users who complete this process will be able to log in immediately at launch without needing to go through additional creation steps.

Alongside this, Smilegate proactively unveiled its official skin program, 'Eclipse PICK,' ahead of the game's launch. 'Eclipse PICK' is a partnership brand that collaborates with various partners to introduce exclusive skins. For the first season, six streamers—Big Boss, Susam, Manman, Bongjun, Nari, and Fairy Ash—have been named as participants. Smilegate is creating official skins that reflect the unique characteristics of each partner, including their appearance, voice, and motions, and users can view the finished results directly on the event page. Smilegate is currently in the process of filing for the 'Eclipse PICK' trademark and plans to continuously expand the scope of its collaboration partners in the future.

Furthermore, the brand is linked to social contribution projects, aiming to spread positive influence alongside users and fandoms. Proceeds from the sale of official skins will be donated through Smilegate HEEMANGSTUDIO to support meaningful social contribution activities. Meanwhile, Smilegate has released new combat videos on its official website featuring two weapon types for each class, helping users check and select class characteristics that suit their individual playstyles.
