The Nintendo Switch 2 port of NEOWIZ's global hit, Lies of P, is enjoying worldwide success, earning the highest critical rating in the franchise's history thanks to its exceptional optimization and gameplay.

NEOWIZ (co-CEOs Kim Seung-chul and Bae Tae-geun) announced on the 11st that Lies of P: Complete Edition, the Nintendo Switch 2 port of its PC and console action RPG Lies of P, has achieved a score of 86 on the global review aggregator Metacritic. This marks the highest score ever recorded for a title within the intellectual property.

Released on the 6th (KST), this port has surpassed both the 80 points achieved by the original Lies of P and the 85 points recorded by the expansion, Lies of P: Prelude. Critics on Metacritic praised the level of optimization, which remains consistent regardless of the device's form factor, noting that the intense combat characteristic of the Soulslike genre can be fully enjoyed on a handheld device. In particular, the game's ability to maintain a smooth 60 frames per second even in handheld mode has drawn a positive response from users.

A NEOWIZ representative stated, "This new record in ratings is a testament to our efforts to ensure the high quality of the original 'Lies of P' is fully realized on this new platform. Officially released in September 2023, Lies of P introduced a unique combat system by reimagining the classic 'Pinocchio' character in a dark, atmospheric setting.
