The release date for 'The Batman Part II' has been delayed once more. The newly announced release date is February 18, 2028.

Director Matt Reeves announced the new date while surprising fans with the first camera test footage via Vimeo. The video features Robert Pattinson in the Batman suit against the backdrop of a snowy Gotham City.

The film is a sequel to the 2022 movie 'The Batman.' Director Matt Reeves co-wrote the script with Mattson Tomlin. Robert Pattinson will return as Batman, alongside returning cast members Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, and Andy Serkis, with new additions including Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan. The plot of the film has not yet been disclosed.

The Batman Part II' was originally scheduled for release in October 2026, but was previously pushed to October 2027. With this latest delay of approximately four months, the film is now set to premiere on February 18, 2028. If there are no further changes, there will be a six-year gap between 'The Batman' and its sequel.
