Smilegate's global gaming platform, STOVE, announced on the 26th that it has opened pre-registration for the side-scrolling action RPG 'GrandChase Classic' on the STOVE store.
'GrandChase Classic' is the PC classic version of 'GrandChase,' a side-scrolling action game originally released in 2003 by the Korean developer KOG. 'GrandChase' was serviced in 11 countries, including Japan, China, Taiwan, the U.S., and Brazil, and reached 20 million cumulative global users. Even after its service ended in Korea, it maintained a dedicated fanbase and resumed global service via Steam in 2021.
The game features anime-style graphics and side-scrolling action. Players can create builds using unique skill trees for each character and customize their appearance. Content includes PvE dungeons, raids, and 3v3 PvP arenas.
Pre-registration is open on the STOVE store until July 14. Any STOVE member can participate. Upon pre-registering, users will immediately receive 5k 'Playk' (STOVE's reward currency) and a ₩3k discount coupon.
Additional rewards will be provided to pre-registered users after the official launch. In-game rewards include a character mini-doll outfit chest, an Awakened Little Elesis pet chest, and a ₩5k in-game item discount coupon.
A raffle event will also be held. Pre-registered users who play the game for at least 30 minutes after the official launch will be entered into a drawing for a Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. All participants will receive 20k Playk.
More information about pre-registering for 'GrandChase Classic' on the STOVE store can be found on the official STOVE website.
