In a live broadcast on Tuesday, May 26, NC introduced upcoming updates for Aion 2, including a new Sanctuary, new 'Brooch' equipment, and a wing enhancement system.

The broadcast, featuring PD Kim Namjoon and Director So In-seop, introduced the new Sanctuary raid content, 'Muspel's Holy Grail.' Players can obtain materials for new 'Dragon-forged/Dragon-slaying' equipment here, as well as the new 'Brooch' accessory. To encourage active participation, the entry limit for the new Sanctuary has been removed, and the first force to clear it will receive exclusive pets and titles.

The new 'Brooch' accessory is also being added. Two new slots will be available to equip these items separately from existing gear. 'Legendary' grade brooches can be crafted, while 'Unique' grade versions can be obtained in the new Sanctuary. Equipping two Legendary brooches increases item level by 200, and Season 4 will introduce content to upgrade Unique brooches to Epic grade.

Regarding rumors from the Taiwan conference circulating among users, the team stated that many details remain unconfirmed and will be revealed at the June 14 showcase. They also issued a stern warning regarding unauthorized third-party DPS meters, stating that sharing personal data without consent is a serious issue and that they are considering legal action if the situation is not resolved by the weekend.
