Voting for the finals of the 2026 Avatar Contest, which is being conducted in a new way, has begun. It is a contest where adventurers directly select their desired avatars in-game based on mockup images presented by the game company. In the preliminary voting held for a week from May 6 to 13, judging was conducted by selecting the desired avatar between two entries, and the results for Matches A through C were revealed on May 20. Following the announcement of the results, the Red Fox concept Male Anich Avatar, the Jersey + Maid concept, and the Armor Style Avatar were eliminated, while the Goblin Avatar, Space Cat Avatar, and Camera concept Avatar advanced to the final round, along with the Dragon, Gyaru, and Skirt Style Avatars. In particular, in the showdown between the Gyaru Avatar and the Jersey + Maid Avatar, which had garnered attention since the mockup was revealed, the Gyaru Avatar emerged victorious and successfully advanced to the finals. This contest is being conducted with a structure that separates 1-on-1 judging and final voting, rather than the existing simple popularity vote method. In the preliminary round, the judging was conducted by having participants select a work to advance to the finals from three 1v1 matches and submit star ratings and evaluation comments. Subsequently, a final vote will be held for the six works that advanced to the finals, and adventurers can use a total of three voting rights: one each for Male, Female, and Free. The Free vote right can be used for any work of any choice regardless of gender, and multiple votes for the same work are permitted. Additionally, the game company has released the average star ratings and evaluation comments left by participants through the final voting page. The final voting will take place for one week from May 20 to May 27, and any adventurer with a character of Item Level 1,680 or higher is eligible to participate. Although not included in the official example images, weapons are also planned to be included in the actual avatar configuration.
