XD will launch a collaboration event between its cross-platform MMORPG 'Blue Protocol: Star Resonance' and the 'Monogatari' anime series starting May 6, 2026. The event will feature the in-game arrival of Hitagi Senjougahara and Koyomi Araragi, along with exclusive quests and a variety of limited-edition items, including character-themed costumes, furniture, and emotes. Additionally, a further collaboration with 'Fairy Tail' is scheduled for later in May.
XD announced that its cross-platform anime-style MMORPG, 'Blue Protocol: Star Resonance,' will host a limited-time collaboration event with the popular 'Monogatari' anime series beginning May 6, 2026.
In this collaboration, key characters from the 'Monogatari' series, Hitagi Senjougahara and Koyomi Araragi, will arrive on the planet Regnas. Players can participate in limited-time quests available only during the event period.
To celebrate the collaboration, various in-game items, including limited-edition costumes and emotes themed after 'Monogatari' characters, will also be introduced.
The collaboration introduces 'Encounters Captured in Photos,' a special limited-time quest that allows players to interact with characters from the 'Monogatari' series. During the event, adventurers can take commemorative photos with Hitagi Senjougahara and Koyomi Araragi to enjoy special moments unique to the game. New 'Monogatari'-themed menu items will also be introduced, featuring food and drinks that capture the atmosphere of the series, which provide various buffs to aid players on their adventures.
To celebrate the collaboration, a variety of limited-edition items inspired by the 'Monogatari' series will be released. The lineup includes everything from costumes that faithfully recreate the characters' charm to furniture that lets players immerse themselves in the series' world. The costumes are specially designed based on Hitagi Senjougahara and Koyomi Araragi, allowing adventurers to feel as though they have become protagonists of the 'Monogatari' series. The furniture items incorporate iconic scenes and motifs from the series, enabling players to decorate their personal gardens with the aesthetic of the 'Monogatari' world.
In addition, emotes and profile icons featuring various expressions of Hitagi Senjougahara and Koyomi Araragi will be available. Players can use these emotes, which capture the characters' memorable looks and emotions, to enjoy more fun and vivid communication with their fellow adventurers.
