On May 26th (KST), X6 Gaming won against RunAway 3-1 in the second matchup of the day and moved on to the semifinals of Overwatch APEX Season 3. Kyung-bo “GodsB” Kim, the DPS for X6 Gaming, led the team to victory with his amazing gameplays as different heroes.

Below is the post-match interview with GodsB.

How do you feel about today’s victory?

I’m really happy that we won. I practiced like my life depended on it after losing our last match.

Did you expect you would make it to the quarterfinals?

I actually did. I was sure that we will make it to the semifinals.

You played Reaper in Temple of Anubis.

We’ve been working on the team comp with Reaper and Sombra, and we won with that comp. We call that comp “the Talon team comp”. I was so happy to see my beautiful ultimate.

At what specific moment did you secure your victory today?

When we won Eichenwalde.

Was the team atmosphere still okay after you lost Game 1?

We weren’t really prepared for Oasis. But we’ve been practicing a lot with the other maps, so I was sure we could win the next ones.

You seem to play a lot of DPS heroes. Who is your main hero?

McCree is my favorite. McCree can definitely show some amazing gameplay.

Is there any team you want to play against in the semifinals?

No one, actually. I think Lunatic-Hai and Afreeca Freecs Blue are the teams that we should be careful about.

The teams that were promoted from Challengers are doing great.

We’ve been playing as a team since Challengers. We worked really hard for this and won’t let our efforts die in vain.

Any last words?

I couldn’t show you all the skills that I have. I will do better next time.
