Gen.G capped off one of the most dominant seasons in League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) history by placing all five of its starters on the 2025 All-LCK First Team, league officials announced Thursday.
The recognition follows Gen.G’s remarkable 29-1 record in the newly reformatted single-season schedule, where the team dropped only one match in 30. The organization also triumphed internationally, winning both the Mid-Season Invitational in Vancouver and the League of Legends event at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh.

2025 LCK Regular Season Voting Results

The All-LCK teams, along with individual honors such as Regular Round MVP and Rookie of the Year, were determined by a panel of about 40 voters, including coaches, players, broadcasters, and journalists.
Gen.G’s lineup — top laner Kim “Kiin” Gi-in, jungler Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu, mid laner Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon, bot laner Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk, and support Joo “Delight” Min-gyu — swept the First Team. For Joo, it marked his first career selection, while Park earned his first since 2022. Each First Team player will receive a prize of 4 million won (approximately $2,900).

Chovy was also named the Regular Round MVP after collecting a league-high 11 Player of the Match awards, cementing his role as the centerpiece of Gen.G’s near-flawless run. He will take home an additional 10 million won ($7,300) in prize money.
The Second Team featured T1’s Choi “Doran” Hyun-joon, Moon “Oner” Hyun-jun, and Ryu “Keria” Min-seok, joined by KT Rolster’s Gwak “BDD” Bo-seong and Hanwha Life Esports’ Park “Viper” Do-hyun. The Third Team included Hanwha’s Choi “Zeus” Woo-je, Han “Peanut” Wang-ho, and Yoo “Delight” Hwan-jung, along with T1’s Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok and Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyung.

BNK FEARX’s Nam “Diable” Dae-geun received Rookie of the Year honors, while Gen.G head coach Kim Jung-soo was named Coach of the Year. Both were awarded 3 million won ($2,200). The LCK postseason is now underway, with play-ins leading to the semifinals and finals later this month at Inspire Arena in Incheon.
