The League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) will conclude its Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) representative selection with a three-day showdown at Sasik Indoor Gymnasium from June 13–15. Two slots for MSI in Vancouver will be awarded to the top two finishers in best-of-5 matches under the Fearless Draft system.
On June 13, Gen.G and Hanwha Life Esports will vie for the LCK’s top seed. Gen.G claimed first place in the regular season with an unblemished 18-0 record and extended a single-season winning streak to 21 matches, while Hanwha Life secured second despite four losses and peaked in Week 9 with comprehensive victories over T1 and BNK FEARX. Though Gen.G holds a 3–2 edge in best-of-3 encounters this season, Hanwha Life has prevailed 3–2 in both best-of-5 playoff series, including the LCK Cup final.

The following day, third-place T1 meets kt Rolster in a battle of titans. kt Rolster surged into Busan after three consecutive sweep victories, starting with a 2–1 win over Dplus Kia in the fifth-place decider and capped by a 3–0 victory against Nongshim RedForce in the MSI qualifier. However, T1 has dominated the telecom rivals with a 20-4 head-to-head advantage since spring 2021, punctuated by multi-series winning streaks and a recent strong showing in the regular season.

The final on June 15 will feature the loser of Gen.G vs. Hanwha Life against the winner of T1 vs. kt Rolster. The victor will earn the LCK’s second seed for MSI, joining the top seed that clinches its spot on the opening day. All matches will follow the fearless draft format to ensure competitive balance.

With the world’s eyes on Busan, the LCK’s two representatives for MSI Vancouver will emerge from a fittingly intense weekend of high-stakes play.
