Riot on the invasion of a spectator : "This breach is an unacceptable issue"

Riot shows an immediate response about the invasion of a spectator.

On May 21th (PDT) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; SK Telecom T1 beat G2 Esports 3-1 in the finals of Mid-Season Invitational 2017. After the match, a spectator jumped onto the show floor and ran into the stage to celebrate with SKT T1 players.

After this incident, Riot immediately responded by posting on a community forum. Here is the full text of Riot res0lute.

Hey guys, I’m res0lute and I’m the event lead of MSI 2017.

A fan jumped from the railings onto the show floor (a 12 foot drop) and was able to run onto the stage. This breach is unacceptable - there needs to be airtight security around our pro players. We’ll be reviewing this immediately and putting additional security measures in place to make sure we’re doing everything we can do to protect teams and players when they’re competing at live events.

Thank you.
