LINE Games Corporation announced the global launch of developer Needs Games’ multiplatform Hack & Slash ARPG UNDECEMBER, following a very popular demo during the 2022 Steam Next Fest. The free-to-play game is available digitally for PC on Steam and FLOOR, as well as for mobile devices on iOS and Android.
In UNDECEMBER, players embark on a journey as Rune Hunters, aiming to stop the 13th Being Evil God Serpens from resurrecting. The game focuses on classic Hack & Slash action — annihilating countless enemies at once, but also introducing a unique classless combat setup. The game’s Rune system allows players to experiment with their characters using thousands of skill combinations — offering the opportunity to adjust skills based on one’s playstyle.
Expanding off of the Steam demo that offered the first five Acts, the global launch allows players to enjoy all ten Acts of the story portion, various challenge modes (such as Chaos Dungeon, Spire of Barrier, and Void Rift), and co-op Raids. In addition to this, players will enjoy the excitement of exploring dark dungeons, as well as competitive PvP.
Initially launched earlier this year in South Korea, the game has attained more than three million pre-registrations — ranking in the top ten game charts on Google Play and App Store briefly after kickoff. It was also one of the most popular titles during the 2022 Steam Next Fest.
To celebrate the global launch, LINE Games is holding a week-long login event and mission festival, where players will be rewarded with in-game items for their participation.
The game offers multiple language options, including English, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), French, German, Japanese, Portuguese and Thai. UNDECEMBER also provides multiple control options — keyboard and mouse, mobile touchpads, and gamepads (the developers recommend gamepads if familiar with them) available now.
