Lunatic-Hai's Miro says “Feel confident about winning as I can adapt well to new metas"

On April 28th, Lunatic-Hai defeated Kongdoo Panthera by overturning the game with 3-2 and won the 1st match of Overwatch APEX Season 3 held in Sangam OGN eStadium. Lunatic-Hai went off with a rocky start when they gave way to Kongdoo in the 1st and 2nd set, but managed to do a reverse sweep from the 3rd set with a winner’s posture. Especially, Jinhyuk ‘Miro’ Gong took a big part in leading the team to the victory by cutting off enemies in crucial moments.

This is the interview we had with Lunatic-hai's Tank, Miro.

Q. How do you feel about your victory at today’s match?

I’m truly happy. They say the first step is the most important, and because we did great today, I have this feeling that we will continue to have good results in future.

Q. It seemed that you didn’t have enough time to prepare after the finals. How did you get ready for Season 3?

It wasn’t like we didn’t have enough time. We prepared for the match like usual.

Q. You went through a tight spot when you lost to Kongdoo in the 1st and 2nd sets.

It was pretty tough for us in the 1st and 2nd sets. We got into talking about each of us marking the enemies one on one from the 3rd set, and we were able to win with this pace. We were able to make a breakthrough as we played on.

Q. Time-out system has been introduced in this season.

Each team can use time-out only once. It’s a relief that we can have time to take a breath.

Q. There seems to be a lot of people saying A group is the ‘group of death.’

Our team feels fine. Instead, I think our opponent teams will find it tough.

Q. Is there any particular team you’ve got your eyes on?

I’d say LW Blue. I think LW Blue has great teamwork.

Q. How was your team like when playing in the new season?

Good as usual.

Q. A new member, Gido ‘Gido’ Mun, joined your team.

He’s a player with great strategic plays. I think he’ll work well with us.

Q. Feeling confident about this season as well?

I feel confident about winning as I can adapt well to new metas.

Q. Any last words?

We are always thankful for your support. I’m glad we are off with a good start.
