Manchester City is seeking a manager to head CFG’s esports department

Manchester City, one of the wealthiest football clubs in the world, is recruiting an esports manager.

According to its official recruitment page, the organization is looking for an esports manager to oversee players from not only the UK but also from the US and Australia. Key responsibilities include player management, marketing activation, and content creation for platforms like Twitch.

Additionally, an ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of all current and upcoming non-FIFA esports games. Although Manchester City is currently focusing on FIFA series, it is looking to expand to other titles in the future.

To apply, applicants have to email their resumes and cover letters to job@cityfootball.com before the deadline on April 24th (local time).

Meanwhile, many European football clubs are actively getting involved in esports, as AS Roma partnered with Fnatic and FC Schalke 04 expanded its esports division earlier this year.
