Call of Duty Warzone's Fourth season is set to launch next week, according to an announcement from Raven Software on Thursday at the Summer Game Fest. The free content update is set to arrive on June 17th, with the full roadmap coming on Monday, June 14, so stay tuned for full details Monday.

The new trailer for Warzone Season 4 was revealed live at the Summer Games Fest, with GM of Call of Duty Johanna Faries on stage introducing the new season.

"We are stoked. It's jam-packed with new content, across Cold War and Warzone," Faries explained during the presentation. "We have new weapons, new maps, bad ass new operators. I am super excited about the hijacked gulag, we have expanded zombies content for everybody who loves that part of the gameplay experience."

The trailer showed that the next Warzone Season will double down on the 1980's inspired Cold War content for Warzone. Most notably, Faries mentioned a "hijacked" gulag, an event that also appears in the trailer itself. It isn't immediately clear how that will impact gameplay, we can expect to learn more about that intriguing new mechanic on Monday.
