After a long wait, the skins for DWG KIA’s (formerly known as DAMWON Gaming) 2020 League of Legends World Championship have finally arrived. Last October, DWG KIA had won the World Championship by defeating Suning in the finals, and earned the right to create their own skins.

DWG KIA’s championship skins were designed based on the team’s main color, mint. The players chose the champions — Nuguri-Kennen, Canyon-Nidalee, ShowMaker-Twisted Fate, Ghost-Jhin, BeryL-Leona.

Each champion resembles gods from Greek myths. The skill effects also show the mythic details. When the skins were first announced on April 14 on the PBE servers, the fans showed explosive reactions, saying that these skins are not only the best ever championship skins but the best skins overall. Each skin costs 1350 RP. 25% of the revenue will go to DWG KIA, the championship team members, and LCK teams.

Meanwhile, DWG KIA, who won the 2021 LCK Spring Split as well as the previous World Championship, has flown to Iceland to participate in the 2021 Mid-Season Invitational which will commence May 6 leading to the finals on May 22.
