cCarter joins DRX as their new general manager

On Dec. 2, DRX announced that they have signed Choi “cCarter” Byoung-hoon as their second general manager. cCarter has a decorated career as a former head coach of SK Telecom T1, winning 3 world championships, 6 LCK championships, and 2 MSI championships.

 

cCarter was in the center of the SK Telecom T1’s beginning. He started his esports career in 2008 as a Starcraft coach and served as a coach of the Special Force team as well. In 2013, he saw the potential of the League of Legends scene and led the establishment of SK Telecom T1’s League of Legends team, signed Kim “kkOma” Jeong-kyun and Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok to make the team legendary.

 

In his career as the head coach of the SK Telecom T1 LoL team, he has won 11 championships. cCarter’s successful career would plant a “winning mentality” to DRX so that they can compete against the world.

 

cCarter has just joined DRX and is currently concentrating on analyzing the team. “I’ve talked with DRX sincerely for quite a long time and I was sure that I would be able to enjoy taking a challenge by walking together with this team,” said cCarter, “through my experience, I’ll do my best so that all the DRX members could reach their goals.
