Fnatic announces Proving Grounds: VALORANT Open: 32 teams, 16 open signup slots

How cool would it be if VALORANT had team skins?

 

Riot Games has launched its first shooting game just one month ago, and the impact it had in the competitive gaming scene has been immense. VALORANT is paving the way for a new esports ecosystem after Riot announced initial esports plans for the title, and naturally, organizations are getting ready for the competitive future of the game. 

 

Just today, Fnatic announced that with “Fnatic Proving Grounds: VALORANT Open”, it would be entering the tournament scene. Signups are open for 16 out of 32 teams, on challengermode, valid for EUW only. The teams will be formed by players who qualify, as well as a select team of content creators and talent.

 

The tournament will be streamed on Fnatic’s Twitch Channel, at 4:30 PT, with on-screen talent like Aaron “Medic” Chamberlain, Christy “Edner’ Frierson. Ceirnan “Excoundrel” Lowe, Zander “BlackCasts” Padwick, and Ryan “RyanCentral” Horton.
